Once again, Moorcroft Pottery has triumphed in producing a magnificent and unforgettable piece of ceramic art as its prestige Limited Edition for their 2002 catalogue. Designed by one of Moorcroft's most distinctive, talented and sought-after designers, Philip Gibson, this superb vase, entitled quite simply 'Profusion', will we are certain, become one of Moorcroft Pottery's most desirable Prestige Limited Editions. Using an oversized version of a traditional Moorcroft shape, Philip Gibson has taken that of most popular shrubs, the Hydrangea, and with painstaking accuracy has illustrated its strong shapes and forms to create a powerful and structured design that enrobes the vase. Set against a deep cobalt blue ground, the delicate blue and green hues of the flowers and foliage are dramatically thrown forward, and are highlighted further by lighter background reserves, warmed with touches of pale pink. This magnificent vase standing 16" tall has been produced as part of a Limited Edition of just 100 pieces.

Moorcroft Pottery's long-established relationship with that great arbitor of taste, Liberty of London, is well known, and this very special vase takes inspiration from the beautiful art nouveau shapes and forms that typify its style, and which made the name of Liberty famous the world over. This superb design, created by the ever talented Emma Bossons, combines rich plum tones set against cool shades of blue and white, so familiar on Moorcroft Pottery Florian wares of an earlier era. Dispayed on one Moorcroft's simplest and most familiar shapes, this elegant and powerful design is shown to its best advantage. Standing a magnificent 14 inches tall, this vase has been made as part of an edition of just 200 pieces.

There cannot be many pieces of contemporary Moorcroft Pottery to rival this magnificent vase. Standing an amazing 38cm (15 inches) tall, this substantial Prestige Piece typifies what has to be modern Moorcroft Pottery at its best. This rare vase has been produced as one of a small number of Prestige Pieces. Although not strictly limited in number, due to length of production for each Prestige Piece, all are made to order, and only a very small number will ever be made. This stunning vase displays one of Moorcroft's most distinctive and resplendant designs of recent years, Queen's Choice. Designed by Emma Bossons, the lush foliage, burgeoning with fruits, envelop this vase, an oversized version of one of Moorcroft's most popular shapes. Introduced as an exclusive piece after the launch of the catalogue range, this Prestige vase is surely destined to become the centrepiece of anyone's collection.
